An academy is not just a football field; a group of young players and coaches or a scheme supported by parents. It encompasses all of these things, but more importantly it is a philosophy, a culture and a way of doing things.

Cambrian & Clydach Vale BGC has always been centred around the local community. The great players and teams throughout the club history have been built on local boys and local talent. We have a proud history of nurturing young stars of the future and continue to maintain our commitment to youth development by doing so in the correct way.

As the only FAW accredited academy in Rhondda Cynon Taff, we hope to continually develop the club by engaging with local clubs and develop stronger links with professional clubs in order to give local talent the platform to pursue their dream of playing for a professional academy.
