The Board Of Directors is a recognized group of local people with a specific area of expertise while having an affinity to the club who jointly oversees the activities of the organisation!

The board meets once every month to discuss all things #CamArmy and try to implement a strategic plan with the ultimate goal to make us the first club in Rhondda Cynon Taff to play in the highest tier of Welsh Football in its newest form.

The clubs board and its connections note the current absence of a Welsh Premier League Football Club in the Rhondda Cynon Taff area. The board will develop a strategic approach to the issues implicit in achieving and funding a progression by Cambrian & Clydach Vale BGC to Welsh Premier League status. Success in the ultimate aim will require a co-ordinated approach to the challenges of sponsorship; marketing; coach education and player development.

To further develop the ground (in stages) to comply with the Football Association of Wales (FAW)
Tier 1 criteria.

Increase Floodlight capacity
To add additional stands with seating to comply with FAW Tier 1 criteria.
To install a filming gantry to comply with FAW Tier 1 criteria
To develop other income streams, such as fan club shop.
Other innovative sponsorship opportunities.
To market the club and its community projects in a positive manner.
To develop community hub centres to provide further developments in the player pathway at the Academy.
To seek funding to undertake a programme of recruitment and training of staff throughout the club.

It is crucial that this programme is successful in developing our young academy players.
Through the consolidation and completion of the above facilities, to progress the aim of providing an integrated “Sports Village” in Clydach Vale that serves both the immediate area and the broader Community of RCT.

It is hoped that through the continued development of the facilities, player development and coach education, we can attract sponsorship to help us successfully achieve and sustain a place in the Welsh Premier League in the near future.

THE M&P 3G

Cambrian & Clydach Vale BGC, in partnership with the Cambrian Village Trust, was officially the first football club within RCT to have a 3G facility. In fact, the pitch was the first 3G laid in the RCT County and we continue to provide the only FIFA 1 Star 3G pitch in RCT. The 3G facility is essential to the continued growth of the Club. Local and National clubs such as Swansea City FC; Cardiff City FC; Ystrad Rhondda RFC; Cambrian RFC & Cambrian Colts along with other sports clubs use the facility
on a daily basis, with an average footfall of 1,500 people visiting the site weekly. The 3G facility is currently the venue of choice for the Rhondda & District Football League & The Aberdare/Rhondda.

Junior Football League, who hold their respective cup finals at the ground on a regular basis. With the outdoor futsal pitch towards the far end of the facility, as well as expanding the site with a 1 of a kind outdoor training facility, we have the potential to bring even more usage to the facility. We have also expanded the seating capacity by adding a new stand to the southern part of the ground, taking the full capacity of the ground to 360 seated spectators. We will comply with the FAW ground criteria for the exciting restructure of the Welsh Football Pyramid in 2019/2020.

THE #CAMARMY CLUBHOUSE

The Cambrian Lakeside Cafe Bar is the home of all the Cam Army football teams for after game meals. Why not visit our clubhouse just a stone’s throw away from the 3G for refreshments before or after matches and training.

Pitchside Boards
A pitchside board is a great way to get national and local coverage for your company through exposure to all fans as well as companies/decision makers. You will also have access to over 1500 users of the M&P 3G per week.

Player / Management Sponsorship
Sponsoring a first team player or member of the management or coaching staff is a great opportunity for you or your company to be associated with your favourite player. As a player sponsor you will receive the following:
Your name and/or business name on the player profile page in every home match day programme
throughout the season.
Your name and/or business name will feature on your chosen player profile our website for the
season with a click through to your company website (Youth & Senior Players)
Meet and have your photo taken with your chosen player.
Social media mentions if your player is selected as Man of the Match or scores a goal.
